Hovhannes Ayvazyan
The Armenian tenor studied at the Komitees Conservatory in Yerevan. His repertoire includes Manrico (Il Trovatore), Radames (Aida), Don Alvaro (La forza del destino), Otello, Don Carlo, Canio (Pagliacci), Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana), Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca), Calaf (Turandot), Luigi (Il tabarro), Dick Johnson (La fanciulla del west), Andrea Chénier, Don José (Carmen), and Grigori (Boris Godunov).
He is a soloist at the Armenian National Opera in Yerevan and appears regularly at the Arena di Verona, the Teatro Massimo Catania, the Frankfurt Opera, the Hanover State Opera, the Wilki Theatre in Warsaw, the Palm Beach Opera, the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, and the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.
