Media Apparat
Founded in 2009, the creative studio Media Apparat brings together over 25 experts in the areas of creative strategy, visual media, digital technology and live experience design. They also have extensive experience in designing visual content for cultural events.
For the performances of “Aida”, Media Apparat is responsible for the conception and production of the digital stage design, which is projected as large-scale images onto the actually built stage set. Due its members’ years of experience Media Apparat is able to create unforgettable experiences using the latest technologies and a combination of different media.
With its interdisciplinary expertise, the studio offers a wide range of services: from event conception to exhibition and trade fair design, projection and motion design to virtual reality applications.
At the Oper im Steinbruch, Media Apparat has been responsible for the design of the visual content on the stage design for the fifth time since 2015, following “Tosca”, “Rigoletto”, “The Magic Flute” and “Turandot”.
